The Heidi Vaughan Gallery featured The Andy Moran Collection: John Biggers and Friends in February of 2020. The showcase was a tribute to several African American artists that Moran knew personally, such as Dr. Carol Simms, John Biggers, and Kermit Oliver. John Biggers and Friends was shown during Black History Month, with many pieces like Julian Kyle's Fredrick Douglass highlighting the significance of Black artists throughout history. Though no longer available to view in person, the collection is still available to view via the Heidi Vaughan website and can be read about in the Houston Chronicle.
